The range divides by how the pipe is made. Seamless pipe is pierced and rolled from a solid billet — no weld seam, the choice for high pressure and high temperature. ERW pipe is formed from coil and electric-resistance welded along a straight seam — economical, dimensionally consistent, and the default for water, gas, structural and low-to-medium pressure lines. Both follow the same outside diameter and wall series in ASME B36.10, which is why a Schedule 40 seamless and a Schedule 40 ERW of the same NPS take the same fittings.
Sizes run from NPS 1/2 to 48 in the ERW listing, with walls from Schedule 20 through XXS; the seamless range is confirmed by size and wall on enquiry. Stainless tubes sit alongside in the stainless range.

One Package: Pipe, Fittings, Flanges
The commercial logic of this page is simple. A buyer who orders pipe from one mill, fittings from another and flanges from a third carries three sets of test documentation, three packing standards and three chances of a grade mismatch at the weld. Our pipe range exists so the fittings and flanges on the same line list can be put on that one enquiry: each item's grade and schedule is assessed and confirmed against the pipe it is specified for, item by item, before order, and the list is quoted and packed as one package.
Choosing the Pipe Type
Start from the service. High temperature or high pressure process lines, boiler and superheater service: seamless. Line pipe for oil and gas transmission: seamless or welded to API 5L by diameter and class. Water, gas distribution, structural and general utility: ERW covers it economically. Our seamless vs ERW guide works through the decision in full, and the schedule chart guide explains the wall series both types share.
Lengths, Ends and Coating
Length basis and end finish are part of the definition of a specific pipe: state both on the enquiry, with any coating or galvanising requirement, and they will be assessed for the specific product before order. The catalogue line-pipe examples are bevelled-end, and include a 3LPE-coated API 5L execution; hot-dip galvanised executions are listed in the ERW range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I order pipe and fittings on one enquiry?
Yes — that is how the range is designed to be bought. Put pipe, fittings and flanges on one line list with sizes, schedules and grades, and they will be quoted and packed as one package.
Do seamless and ERW pipes of the same size use the same fittings?
Yes. Outside diameter and wall series are common to both under ASME B36.10, so a given NPS and schedule takes the same butt weld fittings and flanges regardless of how the pipe was made.
What lengths is the pipe supplied in?
The length basis for a specific product is settled with the quotation for that product. State the lengths your fabrication shop needs — including any cutting requirement — on the enquiry so they are covered for the product ordered.
